MISSISSAUGA WORKS - Mayor McCallion along with key community partners, brought together over 300 leaders representing business, education, not-for-profit groups, labour organizations and government for a half-day session to discuss and identify strategies and partnerships to increase employment in Mississauga.

The Job Creation Task Force led by the Mississauga Summit and Mississauga Board of Trade was established as an outcome of the Mississauga Works – Mayor’s Job Summit to develop short, medium and long-term strategies to improve employment in Mississauga. The Task Force is comprised of individuals and representatives of leading stakeholder organizations including business, education, not-for-profit groups, and government. The Taskforce is Co-Chaired by Brian Crombie, Co-Chair, Mississauga Summit and Sheldon Leiba, President & CEO, Mississauga Board of Trade.
